Just to let you all know that the parasitic run went really well yesterday. The Harvel H3 are a great crowd and were suitably gobsmacked when their 11 'newies' revealed themselves as The Parasitic Hash. Prior to that it was great to see Big Blouse hamming it up as he asked "where the start line for the race" was, and to listen to the poor hare explaining in detail for the thick newies what hashing was all about.

Harvel nearly had the last laugh though, as their run was a good 2.5 hours long and included some mean hills and some very good shiggy. You'll never see Lady Penelope that dirty again methinks. There was a very welcome beer and curry check, a 'jellie baby' check and at the end a neat, snappy and short circle. As the weather was superb, it was all-said-and-done a b****y good day.

On a sad note it was also Ringkisser's last run with H5 before she leaves for the dark side. Although she will return for the Halloween run and party, both Ringkisser and Penetrator will not be present with us quite so often for future events. Penetrator is staying in the area for a while longer, so with luck they will realise there is no life outside H5 and will return to the fold!
